Indium has been used for over 80 years as a homeopathic
remedy (indium metallicum) but is still not recognized at
fair value as a trace element. Indium is the 7th rarest
mineral on the Earth. Due to its almost absence in the
food chain, indium has been considered to be an
unnecessary nutrient, yet some of the most influential
physicians from the XXth century found evidence of heavy
biological interactions between indium all man's vital
organs.. So did Dr. Henry Schroeder (1906-1975) whose
fascinating work and legacy was left unfinished.
Indium is believed to be the mineral of glandular
performance. The research suggests that indium works via
the hypothalamus / pituitary / adrenal axis (HPA). These
glands controls the functions of more than 40 endocrine
glands and help to regulate the production of more
hormones including human growth hormone, DHEA, melatonin,
thyroid hormones and steroids.
